FIRE HERITAGE NETWORK UK

The Network’s AGM & SEMINAR will be held on 18th and 19th OCTOBER 2008

The venue for this year’s event is Hampshire, and our joint hosts are Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service and Hampshire County Council Museums and Archives Service.

This unique team brings together a wealth of talent and experience in our subject.

Alan House (Deputy Chief Officer of Hampshire FRS) has a long pedigree as a fire service historian and is one of the most prolific writers of brigade history. Alan is also well-known as the driving force behind the unique HFRS statue collection at Brigade Headquarters.

Co-host Gary Wragg (Collections Curator of Milestones Living History Museum) is one of the most sought-after specialists on technical and engineering restoration and is an important player in the exciting new national heritage apprentice scheme.

Members must therefore MAKE THEIR OWN HOTEL ARRANGEMENTS for this event.

Members should view the Seminar update pages in the members section for more comprehensive details
